Bond, 1628, September 29. 4 Charles I.

Bond of Nicholas Tonge of Frynstead (Kent), gentleman, to Henry Hawker of Challeck (Kent), gentleman, in the sum of £188 to secure to the latter a good title free from incumbrance in 3 pieces of land or pasture called "Clipham," "Cockborowe," and "Hasell Brooke," containing in all 9 acres in the parish of Kenyngton (Kent); and also 2 pieces of meadow containing 4 acres and 1 yard in "Moseley Meade" in the parish of Wye, which Nicholas Tonge granted to Henry Hawker by deed poll of even date, saving the right of demer of Alyce, now the wife of the said Nicholas. With a note stating "that these words (octoginte et octo) were razed before the ensealing and deliverie hereof in the presence of" witness (signed).
